Cancer Screening
Multi-cancer early detection and screening schedule
🧠Max, your February 2025 Galleri test came back clean — no cancer signal detected across 50+ cancer types. That's excellent news, but remember: this is one layer of defense, not a replacement for targeted screenings like colonoscopy and PSA. Given your age (51) and family history, I'd recommend making sure you're current on colonoscopy and annual PSA. We should also track when your next Galleri is due — I'll flag it when we hit February 2026.

Cancers Screened
50+ types
The Galleri test is a multi-cancer early detection test that looks for a signal shared by over 50 types of cancer. This test uses a blood sample to detect cell-free DNA (cfDNA) shed by tumors into the bloodstream.
Methodology: Targeted methylation analysis of cell-free DNA
Important Limitations
- Does not detect all cancers
- Not a replacement for guideline-recommended screening (colonoscopy, mammography, etc.)
- False negatives are possible — a negative result does not rule out cancer
- Intended for adults 50+ with elevated risk
